What do we do?
Zymax are a UK based company specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of quality, innovative surge protection devices for industrial customers. For over 25 years we have manufactured all of our products here at our UK factory.The devices we manufacture are also commonly known as:

Complete Application Specific IPU Integrated Protection Units
We can supply our complete range of surge protection devices pre-wired into IP55 or IP65 wall mount enclosures, making it easy for the installer. Mains surge protection comes complete with fused isolation for quick integration into your application. We can also fit cable entry glands and external earth bonding connections. MMOV active status monitoring!
The complete Zymax ZM range of AC mains surge protectors include our unique Zymax MMOV continuous active status monitoring technology. This actively monitors the surge protection state and includes both a visual indicator and an audible alarm signal. These are ideal for installation within a system or in remote monitoring installations where the engineer may not always be on site and wants to check the devices installed. They also give status indication even before replacement is necessary, allowing for preventative maintenance and minimising downtime.
Coax/Antenna Protection
ZA range of high energy antenna/coax surge protectors. Ideal for protecting radios in 4G wireless monitoring installations. TNC version shown in photo mounted onto an optional ZAWALL wall/panel bracket. Standard M5 bolt supplied for fixing direct to a panel. Also available in versions with N type (both 50 & 75 ohm), BNC and new for 2023, SMA terminations.
IP67 PSTN/ISDN/ADSL surge protector
PSTN/POTS/xDSL surge protector, where a very small footprint or no DIN rail is available and IP67 ingress protection rating is required. Supplied complete with glands and external M5 earth connection. Easy to install IDC wire termination. Ideal for protecting modem/xDSL monitoring lines at remote sites.

Every day there are around 3 million lightning flashes and that's approximately 45 strikes every second!. The most lightning hit place on earth is Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela, which can receive around 40,000 strikes per night!
